Parc Dilwyn
Parc Dilwyn was imported from the Parc Stud in Wales in 1979. Since that time, he has brought charisma and athleticism to the show ring.
Dilwyn began his career with Ray Morrison, captain of the Canadian Equestrian team and competed in combined and pleasure driving events.
He came to the US by purchase and I was fortunate to have the opportunity to ride him and then later own him.
Dilwyn has held numerous National and Regional titles in Halter, Pleasure under Saddle, Driving, and Hunter classes.
Dilwyn is Farincroft's foundation sire and is still producing foals today. His last venture in the show ring was in 2000 at the Bel Air Welsh and Penn Mary Del shows in Maryland. At 21 years of age, he still had his competitive edge and went on to win Reserve Grand Champion Cob to his son Tank for Bel Air Welsh and Grand Champion Cob for the Penn Mary Del.
